Terms & Conditions

Ecogreens Garden Bags and Bins is a family owned business, we have been working in this industry for more than 10 years, we will ensure to work at our highest standards, and aim to complete all that we set out to do. For us to be able to uphold our service for you we ask you follow as below.

Office Hours: Monday – Thursday 9:00am – 3:00pm & Friday 9:00am– 2:00pm.
Saturday & Sunday & Public Holidays – Closed

Calendar: For our new customers a calendar will be provided for you in which you will receive in an envelope when gear/s will be delivered to your property, and thereafter the following year calendar will be attached to your October invoice if you have a collection due, if not it will be your November invoice. If you’re on neither months we will have it email or mail to you.

Bag service: Have bag and frame situated in an easily accessible position, our guys will be removing bag off the frame manually and using a hand trolley to do so, please do not overfill bag. Leave access onto property from 7am week of collection, if there is no access onto property please note full charge will still apply.

Bin service: Please have bin on kerbside Monday 7am week of collection, if you forget to put the bin out guys will try to gain access onto your property to have bin emptied. (This will be at extra cost of $2.00) If you are paying extra for the bin to be retrieved off the property please leave access for the guys to get the bin once it is emptied, bin will be left on kerbside, if there is no access onto property please note full charge will still apply.

Cancellation of collection: Four weekly customers: We will allow three skips in a calendar year, if there are more than 3 requests to skip a collection there will be a surcharge of $8.00 for this. Contact for skipping must be made no later than 2pm Friday prior to your week of collection. Please have your customer number handy, any late cancellations will not be allowed, full charge will still apply.                        Eight Weekly Customers: We will only allow one skip in a calendar year, as on an eight weekly service you will have an average of seven collections.

Payment: All charges will be for three collections in advance, we ask you make full payment prior to collection been due if account is on zero dollar balance, or owing.  If account is outstanding up to three collections, we will be place collections on hold, and you will be informed, until overdue is paid then we will continue with collections.

Contamination: Our service is to remove greenwaste, there are certain items we are unable to take Flax, Bamboo, large amounts of soil, Compost, Cabbage tree leaves, Branches over 15cm in diameter. All other greenwaste we are able to remove for you.

Termination: Minimum service is six collections, once these collections have been completed we will continue service until we are informed you no longer require our service. Please note service will end on your next collection that will be due and gear/s will be removed off the property at the same time. If we are unable to retrieve our gear off your property we will continue to come per collection schedule but full collection charges will apply.

Lost Bag & Frame: $70.00 – Lost Bag $15.00 Lost Frame $55.00 – Lost Bin: $80.00

Refund: Refund to your account will be made if your account is in credit for more than two collections, please note final collection is charged at your normal rate even if bag or bin is empty, if bin is provided by yourself account will be closed on contact.

Delays: If there is a delay in your collection, in which most collections should be done by Thursday, either your week of collection is on the week of a public holiday or there has been unforeseen circumstance with the truck or with our driver.

Any other changes in collections, you will be informed via letter which will be attached to your invoice.
